This is Chet, in his Sunday best, seated on “Shorty”. I can tell you being dressed like this generally happened for two occasions, a Saturday dance or Church. There was a family rule. They “could” fit over the boots, but why hide a perfectly good pair of boots. Chet wore cowboy boots until the last few years of his life, although he did start turning the pants over the boots.
